Your Father Knows Everything

So do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?'
For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them.
(Matthew 6: 31-32)

We do not live in large bursts of faith.

Faith whispers to our ears and heart what we sometimes find it hard to believe. Maybe for being tenuous and challenging reason. That is why Jesus said that we need to convert and become like children to enter the kingdom of heaven (Mt 18.3).

Faith whispers the certainty that God knows our needs. And, of course, better than ourselves. And it's good that we can rest in the confidence that he cares for them.

Faith eliminates the doubt that insists on telling us that God has forgotten. It eliminates the suspicion that God is against us.

Do not worry so much about acquiring. Prefer distribute and sharing.

This is how God cares, that's how he does it. The detachment of things shows that you know, at least a little, God, for that is how he works.
